Wayne is self-taught and has been painting full-time since 1972. Overseas travel often provides his subject matter. The subject dictates the style, the concept sometimes being colour, light or detail. He is the recipient of many major NZ art awards and was the 2009 winner of Searle Travel People’s Choice artist in this Exhibition.
