Artex is in its 41th year, raising in excess of $800k for community projects which has been possible through the fantastic support and participation of NZ’s talented Artists along with our generous sponsors. We’re delighted to have partnered with Hawke’s Bay Surf Life Saving as the recipient of our art sale proceeds for a three year term. We want to maximise our ability to donate to this awesome organisation who really make a difference saving lives and keeping us safe on our beaches. We are seeking expressions of interest for Artists wishing to exhibit.

Art Work
- Paintings are to be originals
- Photographic art works are to be identified as limited edition along with the number of prints in the series (maximum of 10 prints)
- Artwork to be a minimum value of $750 each. This will give Artists a higher return for your work and lift the overall median sale price to ensure the on-going viability of this event.
- Up to two art works per artist will be accepted in the exhibition
Commission
- Registered for GST - 40% on the net sale price, plus GST
- Unregistered for GST - 40% on the sale price plus GST on the commission.
