Surf Livesaving NZ have kindly donated four Longboards which will be painted by four local artists and sold by auctioneer on Friday 13th October at 6pm, at Elephant Hill Winery.

Blue Serenity – Sculpture by Glen Colechin
The Sculpture is based on the Blue Heron. For Glen it’s a symbol of hope and calm patience that we all need in times of deep distress, rising above the turmoil and with a gentle elegance.
The sculptured dimensions are 2.5 metres Tall 1.6 metres wide and .600cm deep.
It’s made with a stainless-steel frame clad in copper the blue is natural Verde de gris patina with a cleat coat to stop copper from tainting.
